Your event ends
at midnight.
So does the work.
23:18. Check-in complete. Settlement done.
The system has already taken care of the rest.
„Three helpers at check-in. One with a PDF, one with an app that keeps freezing, one on the phone. And 40 guests are still waiting outside."
This doesn't happen because you do bad work.
It happens because the tools weren't built for you.
You organise the annual ball, the club party, the members' meeting. On a voluntary basis. On the side. On Sunday evening you're still in the spreadsheet trying to work out which of the 120 people hasn't paid yet.
Friday night. Sold out. And you don't know how much you took until Saturday. The guest list is spread across three different devices. What happened at check-in, you only find out once you count the receipts.
Two days. Four entrances. 600 tickets in three categories. On Friday night the North entrance scans the VIP tickets – the South entrance doesn't know. On Saturday you're still busy with yesterday's settlement.
How Cita.Events works
From the first booking
to the next morning.
Access rules you control
Public for everyone, by invitation only or via a waiting list for pre-registration – you set the access rules in advance.
No account. No drop-off.
Your guests book directly – no registration, no password. Ticket as a link, PDF or straight into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
Check-in even without Wi-Fi.
Browser-based, no app required. When the Wi-Fi drops – and it does – check-in keeps running and syncs automatically as soon as the connection comes back.
Cancellations without the marathon.
Refunds run automatically via Stripe – in minutes, not hours. Guest lists, revenue, check-in statistics: all exportable as CSV.
Transparency in both directions
Your guest sees one price.
You see your payout.
No hidden fees at checkout – that's the most common reason purchases are abandoned. Your guest knows the price from the start. You know your payout – to the cent – before the first guest books.
Most organisers reckon on 2 hours of follow-up work per event. During the pilot we measured 6–8. Do the maths.

We've helped organise events ourselves. We stood at entrances with long queues, ticked off tickets on paper and realised at the end of the night: the real work is only just beginning.
What was missing wasn't better ticketing. What was missing was a system that holds the whole process together – from the first booking to the last settlement.
That's Cita.Events.
