Before the event

Before the first ticket is sold.

15 minutes for a complete event – name, date, ticket categories, access mode, done. No setup fee, no onboarding appointment, no manual. No IT knowledge required.
Yes. You decide before the first ticket goes on sale: public for everyone, by direct invitation link only, or a waiting list for pre-registration. Once set, it runs on its own.
Yes. Any number of categories, individual prices, individual quotas. When a quota sells out, it closes automatically.
One action – all refunds run automatically through Stripe. No manual transfers, no working through a guest list, no three hours the Tuesday after.
Yes. Free events incur no platform fee. The entire workflow – access control, check-in, guest list – works identically.
Yes. The sessions planner keeps your programme together: you set up tracks, rooms and time slots in one place, and the agenda stays maintained in a single location. No second tool, no parallel spreadsheet you have to reconcile in the end.
No – not from Pro onwards. You create the speakers, and from the Pro plan they maintain their own profile via a token portal. No account for the speakers, no back-and-forth by email, no re-typing on your part.

When your guest books

From the first click to the ticket in their pocket.

No. Book, pay, done. No password, no account, no confirmation email with the wrong link. Guest checkout is the default – you can optionally enable a mandatory account if you need it.
As a link, as a PDF, or straight into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. No separate app download for the guest. The link works on any device.
They simply open their confirmation link again. No account, no password reset, no support ticket. That's no accident – it's the reason support requests dropped in our pilot phase from 20 to 3 per event.
All standard Stripe methods: credit card, SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Your guests pay the way they're used to.
Yes. Waiting-list mode: guests sign up for pre-registration, price and booking come later. You announce the start yourself.

On the night itself

Check-in without the chaos. Even without WiFi.

No. Open a browser, type in the URL, done. No download, no update, no installing on four helpers' phones on the night. No technical knowledge required.
Check-in keeps running. Cita.Events stores the current state locally on the device. As soon as the connection returns, everything syncs automatically – not a single ticket is lost, no double admissions.
No. You assign dedicated check-in roles. Helpers only see the scan function – no revenue figures, no guest data, no account settings.
Yes. A live overview on any device – check-in progress, time of the last scan, total count. In real time, no reload. Handy for coordinating door staff across several entrances.
The scan fails and immediately shows a red alert. The system remembers every scan – a ticket cannot be redeemed twice, not even if two helpers scan at the same time.

The next morning

Billing done. Before you wake up.

No. Stripe does it automatically – in minutes, not hours. When you cancel an event: one action, and all refunds run. For individual cases: you decide the amount and timing, the platform handles the rest.
No. CSV export, one file, everything in it: guest list, revenue by ticket category, check-in statistics, timestamps. Accountant-ready. Relevant for the annual accounts and the board report.
In our pilot phase: from an average of 3–5 hours to under one hour. What remains is what only you can really decide – everything else runs automatically.
Stripe pays out according to the payout interval you've configured. Standard: 2–7 working days after the event. Revenue sits in your Stripe account from the moment of purchase – the payments land directly with you.
Export, then delete. One click. Cita.Events is EU-hosted, all data resides on European servers. A data processing agreement (DPA) is included.

Plans & pricing

What's in the plan – and what selling costs.

It depends on the plan. Basic: 1 event per month, up to 200 participants per event. Pro: 5 events per month, up to 1,000 participants. Pro Max: 10 events per month, up to 2,500 participants. You can switch at any time – the plans can be cancelled at any time.
Yes. Depending on your plan, several events run in parallel each month: Basic 1, Pro 5, Pro Max 10. Each event has its own guest list, its own live overview and its own billing – and across several entrances the same single source of truth is scanned, so a ticket can't be redeemed twice.
Yes, it depends on the plan: Basic has 2 team members, Pro 3, Pro Max 7. Each team member gets their own role – helpers at check-in only see the scan function, no revenue figures and no settings. No one needs your password.
A platform fee per paid order: 0,30 € for ticket prices under 11 €, otherwise 2,9 % of ticket revenue. On top of that comes the Stripe payment fee. Free events incur no platform fee. You don't have to guess – in the pricing calculator you see to the cent what reaches you.
The plan prices are exclusive of VAT, with no setup fee. What your guests see when buying a ticket is the price you set – with no surcharge at checkout.
Yes, a non-profit discount on request. Drop us a line about what you're planning – we usually get back to you within 24 hours. There's no setup fee anyway, and the plan can be cancelled at any time.
No. Cita.Crew will become part of the Cita.Events platform – from winter 2026 – and helpers apply via a form on your website, with no need to register. They confirm or decline shifts via a personal link. With a Pro or Pro Max plan, crew planning is included at no additional base fee.
